Full-time Master’s and Doctoral degrees in any field; exceptions include a second degree, an LL.M. or MBA, a part-time degree, a Bachelor’s degree for candidates from outside of Europe, Doctoral studies in Dentistry or Medicine, Postdoctoral Programs, Projects, and Individual Stays Abroad.

Scholarship Requirements:

These fellowships are designed for ambitious young Germans who share the liberal party’s political values.

They are students from all fields of study in state-approved German universities and colleges of applied sciences.

To get a scholarship from the Foundation for Freedom in Germany is to be welcomed into the “liberal family” of that country.

Scholarship Duration and Reward

  • Masters: The monthly value of the Study-In-Europe: 2024 Friedrich Naumann Foundation Scholarship for International Students is up to €861. Additionally, there is a payment for medical coverage. In addition to financial backing, the Foundation provides moral and logistical assistance to worthy causes.
  • Two semesters is the bare minimum for receiving support. The scholarship money is not refundable. Initial funding is provided for 12 months.
  • On request, deadlines may be extended till the conclusion of the semester. Internships and overseas study trips are not supported.
