Lagos Expands Partnership with Roducate in order to improve learning and also upgrade the educational system in Lagos State, full details below;
Lagos, the largest state in Nigeria, has actively promoted digital learning initiatives to increase access to education and improve the learning experience for its residents.
The partnership with Roducate, a company specializing in e-learning solutions, is one of the initiatives that Lagos has previously undertaken. Through this partnership, Lagos intended to provide pupils with e-learning devices, allowing them digital access to educational content and resources.

Expanding these partnerships and introducing more e-learning devices would contribute to Lagos’s aim of expanding access to high-quality education. Tablets, laptops, or other electronic devices equipped with educational content, online resources, and interactive learning tools could be among these devices.
Lagos Expands Partnership with Roducate: Launches More e-Learning Devices
In 2020, the state of Lagos distributed Roducate e-learning devices to some of its secondary public school pupils. In 2021, one year after implementing the devices, the State achieved a remarkable 79.6% pass rate on that year’s WAEC examinations, representing a 100 percent increase. The State increased its commitment to provide more pupils with Roducate e-learning devices as a result of the colossal success.
On Friday, July 7, 2023, the Lagos State Government, in collaboration with Roducate Limited, began distributing over 18,000 Roducate Ibile e-learning devices to public school pupils in the State.
Roducate Limited, an educational technology corporation, is committed to removing all barriers to learning and facilitating every child’s access to a quality education. This partnership enables Roducate to continue its mission of utilizing technology to expand access to quality education via Roducate Educational Intervention Devices (REIDs).

The Roducate e-learning devices are equipped with the Roducate application, which gives students access to curriculum-based content for all subjects in multiple formats, including lecture notes, tutorial videos, audio lectures, and practice exams. Roducate also offers Life skills training and provides students with round-the-clock access to academic and career counselors.
In addition to the Roducate application, the devices include sim cards and internet data for secure internet access. Roducate conducts regular Competitions in which prizes are awarded not only to students who perform exceptionally well, but also to their teachers and parents. Optional solar power banks are included with the Roducate e-learning devices for students living in remote locations.
