CIBC Scholarship- The Canadian International Business Council (CIBC) is Canada’s leading international trade and investment voice. As part of its mission to support global commerce, CIBC offers scholarships to students who demonstrate leadership potential and commitment to international business.
CIBD was established in 2000 to promote trade between Canada and other countries. In addition to providing scholarships, CIBD also organizes conferences and workshops to educate Canadians about international opportunities. CIBD Full Ride Scholarship Program offers financial support to Canadian students who intend to pursue studies at leading universities abroad.
The program offers scholarships worth $50,000 annually to eligible candidates across Canada. The average annual cost of attending a Canadian postsecondary institution is $10,811. Even though Canada ranks third in terms of overall GDP, its citizens spend more on education than other countries. To address this issue, the Government of Canada introduced the CIB Scholarship Program in 2015. Since then, over 100,000 Canadians have benefited from this program.

Eligibility for CBIC Scholarship

Here Are Some Things to Avoid When Applying for a Scholarship
- Do not submit your application late; submit your application on time. Late applications will not be accepted. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered for funding.
- The deadline for submitting applications is usually around December or January, so submit yours before this. If you do not submit your application on time, you will not be considered for the scholarship.
- You can write an appeal letter if you cannot meet the deadline due to extenuating circumstances. However, if you do not submit your application on time, there is no guarantee that the scholarship board will accept your appeal.
- If you are denied due to submitting late, it could also mean you could not keep to the submission deadline during your university studies. It will be a negative mark on your record and may affect future applications for scholarships.
- Never submit an incomplete application. Before submitting your application, make sure you have completed all the sections. Please be aware that applications with missing information will not be considered for funding.
